We visited the small community that Calvary has adopted and was overwhelmed with the outpouring of love conveyed to us by the children. Team members were wiping their eyes from tears as they stepped out of the vans to greet the children. For two hours we shook hands, gave hugs, sang songs, made balloon animals, and took hundreds of pictures as we shared together. It was an amazing moment.
Tomorrow, we will attend church, do some sightseeing, shop and then prepare to wake up early Monday morning for our first day of work. Please pray for us as we try to accomplish alot of work during such a short amount of time. Please pray for protection as we work on a roof 23 feet above ground. The team is eager and ready to serve!
